Book Details + Condition: A classic first edition from 1926 on witchcraft, sorcery, black magic, neuromancy, damnation, satanism and every kind of magic and occult written by a notable scholar in the field, Montague Summers. The work also features colorful, little-known anecdotes about witches, devils, and their arts — as well as numerous historical accounts of witch trials and the role of witches in literature. In overall very well preserved condition: the pages are crisp and clean; the boards and binding are solid and tight, with little shelfwear. Boards show a few light spots, spine ends and corners bumped and a bit chafed, spine a little faded, page-edges browned, otherwise a solid unmarked very good copy.
